Ukraine’s Anna Muzychuk is still leading the event with 8.5 points, 1.5 more than the second-placed Alexandra Kosteniuk of Russia and Nana Dzanigdze of Georgia. India’s Dronavalli Harika is placed 15th with 5.5 points.

In the men’s event, former champion Viswanathan Anand slipped to the joint sixth spot, with eight points, one behind sole leader Ian Nepomniachtchi of Russia. India’s Vidit Gujrathi is in the 12th position with 7.5 points. Three rounds remain.
