Live updates

India C is the Deodhar Trophy 2018/19 champion.

4:48pm WICKET and there's the win for India C! Navdeep Saini bowls Jayadev Unadkat clean with a yorker and India C wins by 29 runs.

4:45pm OUT! Chahar also falls. Now it looks like there's only one way this match is going. India B 323/9

4:42pm Deepak Chahar and Jayadev Unadkat are in the middle needing 35 runs from the last five overs.

4:37pm OUT! Shahbaz Nadeem departs and India B is in deep trouble here. India B 318/8 after 45 overs.

4:31pm BIG WICKET for India C! They finally get the wicket of Shreyas Iyer who looked unstoppable. Iyer has to depart for a classy 148 after skying a Rahul Chahar delivery which is caught at fine leg by Pappu Roy.

4:21pm India B needs 61 from the last 9 overs and Shreyas Iyer on 133 is making it look easy out there, but with 6 wickets down we've got a close match on our hands. India B 292/6 after 41 overs.

4:07pm With 80 runs to win from 72 balls and Shreyas Iyer in the middle, India B still stays in the hunt despite losing six wickets. Deepak Chahar will have to provide all the support Iyer needs to pull his team across the finish line.

3:58pm OUT! Navdeep Saini gets his first wicket as the big-hitting K Gowtham departs for a quick 18 off 10 balls. India B sinks deeper into trouble as it loses its sixth wicket. 264/6 after 37 overs.

3:52pm India B skipper Shreyas Iyer has a tough task at hand. With Krishnappa Gowtham at the other end, he has to get his team 103 more rins from 15 overs with just 5 wickets in hand. India B 250/5 after 35 overs. 3:47pm WICKET! Pappu Roy breaks another strong partnership. This time it's Ankush Bains who falls and his 65-run partnership with Iyer comes to an end. India B 240/5 after 34 overs.

Update from Feroz Shah Kotla: "A few wickets have pegged India B back in its chase. It's the left-arm spinner Pappu Roy, who was hit for a few boundaries but bounced back to dismiss two potent batsmen.

He enticed the set Ruturaj Gaikwad to step down the track. Gaikwad failed to get the necessary leverage, and holed out to the long-off fielder. Vihari, after hitting a six off Roy, fell trying to hit one more. He got the height but not the distance, and was also caught at long-off.

The wickets provided some respite to India C, after a period of carnage in the middle. Shreyas Iyer, especially, was disdainful. He scored his century, and will look to steer his team till the end.

It's 228/4 after 32 overs."

3:23pm There's his century! Shreyas Iyer gets to a well-deserved hundred in just 81 balls. What a classy innings this is shaping up to be!

3:16pm Ankush Bains has stepped up. Bains and Iyer will need to protect this partnership. The run rate has been taken care of but India B is running out of batsmen. India B 197/4 in 29 overs.

3:02pm WICKET! India B loses its fourth wicket as Manoj Tiwary goes for a soft dismissal. Shreyas Iyer is slowly losing batting partners in the middle.  India B 172/4 after 25.2 overs.

2:57pm Shreyas Iyer is going nuts here with some clean hitting. In the same over that Roy dismissed Vihari, Iyer smashes three sixes to take his score to 84 off 67 balls. India B 171/3 after 25 overs.

2:52pm OUT! Another one goes for India B. Hanuma Vihari who was looking to take on Pappu Roy, skies a shot and it's taken in the deep. That's Pappu Roy's second.

2:44pm WICKET! Pappu Roy dismisses the set batsman Gaikwad for 60. India B 132/2 in 21 overs. The 116-run partnership for the second wicket comes to an end.

Update from Feroz Shah Kotla: "India B's top order has been generous with its boundary scoring, making use of the fielding restrictions. Ruturaj Gaikwad has been especially prolific with his boundaries, hitting seven of them.

His opening partner Mayank Agarwal was dismissed by Rajneesh Gurbani; the batsman tried to play a cut against the fast bowler, and paid the price, edging behind.

Shreyas Iyer, the captain, has hit the only six of the innings so far - straight down the ground - besides collecting four fours.

India B 103/1 in 16 overs."

2.30 pm 100 up for India B, but still a long way to go for the side. Meanwhile, can India C bowlers rock the India B batsmen?

2:05pm India B is 58 for the loss of one at the end of the first powerplay. Ruturaj Gaikwad is batting 25, with captain Shreyas Iyer on 19.

1:57pm Gaikwad and Shreyas Iyer get India B to 50 in 9 overs. Gaikwad has looked good so far, scoring five boudnaries in his 24 off 19 balls.

1:31pm WICKET! Mayank Agarwal gets caught behind by Ishan Kishan and loses his wicket for 14. Rajneesh Gurbani picks up the first wicket for India C. India B 16/1 in 3.2 overs

1:15pm Mayank Agarwal and Ruturaj Gaikwad open the innings for India B.

India B needs 353 runs to win.

Update from Feroz Shah Kotla: "As on Thursday against India B, Suryakumar Yadav lit the Kotla alight with his outrageous strokes all around the ground, including four sixes. The sixes arrived through midwicket, long-off and fine-leg regions.

His dismissal for 39 (off 18 deliveries) - caught on the leg-side boundary - sparked a mini-collapse. But the job was done as India C has a run-rate of more than seven per over in 50 overs.

It's 352/7"

12:33pm WICKET off the final ball off the over! Jayadev Unadkat bowls Navdeep Saini and India C posts a huge total of 352/7 in 50 overs.

11:51 am WICKET! Shubman Gill has to go for 26. Mayank Markande traps him in front of the stumps with a wrong one, the very next ball after Gill lifts him for a six. India C 269/2 in 42.4 overs

11:49 am Rahane and Gill bring up their 50-run partnership as they begin accelerating.

11:43 am With Ishan Kishan back in the pavilion, the scoring rate has seen a slight dip. Gill has started slow.

10:12 am A nearly moment: Ishan Kishan is given out leg before wicket to Shahbaz Nadeem . But the left-arm spinner has overstepped marginally , reprieving Kishan, who has swiftly moved to 38. India C is 89 for no loss after 17 overs .

9:56am Ishan Kishan brings up the 50 for India C with a six off K. Gowtham . The six breaks the shackles for him: stranded in single digits for long, Kishan steps out and with a clean bat swing, hits Gowtham over his head.
