Royal Challengers Bangalore has signed K. L. Rahul and Parveez Rasool from Sunrisers Hyderabad for the 2016 season of the IPL. Rahul played nine matches for SRH last year, scoring 142 runs. The Karnataka batsman was previously part of the RCB setup in 2013, when he made five appearances for the side. “Given his multiple skills, K. L. Rahul has a lot to offer RCB in terms of batting and wicket-keeping. It’s a good feeling to get a prominent local Karnataka boy back home and in the RCB fold again,” said Vijay Mallya, Chairman of United Spirits Ltd., which owns the team.

J&K all-rounder Rasool, who featured only twice for SRH last year, will give the team another spin-bowling option. “Parveez offers us a spinning all-rounder option that we were targeting to complement (Yuzvendra) Chahal and Iqbal (Abdulla),” Mallya said.
