Rajasthan stumper-batsman Dishant Yagnik has decided to hold back his decision of retiring from first-class cricket till the end of the Ranji Trophy.
After Sportstar reported about Yagnik’s decision of calling it quits after the ongoing fixture between Team Rajasthan and Jharkhand, the selectors requested Yagnik to hold on till the end of the season.

Caught in a fix, Yagnik has finally decided to continue for a few more games. “I have known all of them (the selectors and Pankaj), so when they requested me to hold it till the season end, it is difficult for me to not listen to them,” Yagnik told this publication. But then, he is quick to add that the curtains may be drawn even a bit early. “Our next match is in Kerala, and the team will be in trouble if I am not there. I have decided to play that match,” he said, adding: “Let’s see what happens after that.”
