India registered its second consecutive win in World Cup 2019 with a 36-run win over Australia at The Oval on Sunday.

Batting first after winning the toss, India posted a daunting 352, with Shikhar Dhawan top-scoring with 117 runs. Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma also contributed with handy half-centuries to help the Men in Blue to a record ODI total in a World Cup match against Australia.

Jasprit Bumrah, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Yuzvendra Chahal then finished the job, bowling Australia out for 316.

India now stands in third place in the points table, with New Zealand and England taking the top two spots.
