Rashid Khan was taken for 110 runs in a World Cup match.

One of world's most successful Twenty20 spinners, Afghanistan's Rashid Khan, was on Tuesday taken to the cleaners by the English batsmen; and by skipper Eoin Morgan in particular. The young leggie now holds the dubious distinction of conceding maximum runs in a World Cup match.

Most runs conceded in an ODI innings:

113 (10)  Michael Lewis v SA Joburg 2006

110 (10) Wahab Riaz v Eng Nottingham 2016

110 (9) Rashid Khan v England Manchester 2019

Rashid conceded 11 sixes -- seven of which came against Eoin Morgan -- during a spell which saw England catapult past the 350-mark in the blink of an eye. The young legspinner leaked 110 runs off nine overs; the most he's ever gone for before was 68, once each against Ireland and Scotland.

Meanwhile, Morgan broke the world record for maximum sixes in an ODI innings when he cleared the front leg and launched a full delivery fro Gulbadin Naib over the bowler's head for his 17th maximum. 102 runs off his 148 came off sixes.
