Despite the unpredictable weather, Mancheter's Old Trafford stadium is packed today. A beautiful view to match the occasion.

An Indian fan pauses at the foot of a set of steps leading to the stands at Old Trafford. Such a game is a dream for photographers on the field. It's an aesthetic gold mine.

After Sarfaraz Khan won the toss and put India in to bat, Rohit Sharma and K. L. Rahul, opening for the first time this World Cup, got India off to a great start.
▲
Mohammad Amir was warned for running on the danger area twice in an over.
▲
Rohit Sharma got to his 50 in just 34 balls. He's been having a good World Cup. He was touted to struggle against the moving ball in England. No one's saying that now.
▲
K. L. Rahul has been in fine touch. He took longer than Rohit Sharma to reach his fifty, but has looked unbreachable.
▲
Rahul, however, fell soon after reaching his fifty. Wahab Riaz struck for Pakistan as Rahul chipped an easy catch to Babar at covers.
▲
Rohit Sharma scored his second century of the tournament, and he got there in just 85 balls, the second fastest by an Indian in a World Cup.
▲
Hassan Ali dismissed Rohit Sharma on 140. Wahab Riaz caught him at fine leg. A visibly annoyed Rohit walked off, knowing that wasn't the right shot to play.
▲
Runs don't stop: Virat Kohli scored a fifty and reached 11,000 ODI runs.
▲
Rain's here, run! Mohammad Amir talks to Virat Kohli as they leave the field as rain stopped play with India at 305/4 in 46.4 overs.
▲
Anticipation in the background: Hardik Pandya's cameo came to an end as Babar Azam caught him at long on for 26 off 19 balls.
▲
Big talking point! Virat Kohli's innings came to end as he was caught behind off a Mohammad Amir ball on 77. Or did it? Kohli walked without waiting for the umpire's call and TV replays showed he didn't get an edge on the ball.
▲
Vijay Shankar and Kedar Jadhav helped India get to 336 at the end of 50 overs. With dark skies threatening to pour again, Pakistan chases 337 to get a first win over India at a World Cup.
▲
How did Vijay Shankar's first ball at a World Cup go? He got a wicket! Shankar came in for Bhuvneshwar who left the field with an injury after four balls of the fifth over, and he got Imam-ul-Haq out LBW on the first ball.
▲
Fakhar Zaman built a strong second-wicket partnership with Babar Azam, looking to take the game away from India.
▲
Double-strike from Kuldeep Yadav! He first gets Babar Azam and Fakhar Zaman soon follows as Kuldeep ends a 104-run partnership and puts India back on top.
▲
It was Hardik Pandya's turn next. He dismissed Mohammed Hafeez and Shoaib Malik in two successive deliveries.
▲
The covers came on once more. Pakistan was 166/6 after 35 overs and way behind the DLS par score of 252.
▲
The target had been reduced to 302 in 40 overs when play resumed. However, Pakistan couldn't achieve the almost insurmountable task of scorinf 136 in five overs. India easily made it 7-0 against Pakistan in World Cups.
