Alex Hales returned to action for Nottinghamshire with a solid knock of 36 against Northamptonshire in the One-Day Cup on Monday.
England opener Hales was cut from his country's Cricket World Cup squad after serving a suspension for what his spokesperson described as an "off-field incident".
Notts said Hales had fallen "way short" of the behaviour expected of him, while England captain Eoin Morgan explained his deselection had come as a result of a "complete breakdown in trust".

But his absence from the England team means the batsman is available for county action and he was expected to face Durham last week before the match was rained off.
Hales instead came back against Northamptonshire and made 36 from 43 - including six boundaries - until he was bowled by Luke Procter, leaving Notts on 74-4 chasing 326.
