Virat Kohli played a fine knock with an unbeaten 85 off 61 balls but the wicket of Hardik Pandya turned the match in favour of Australia as India's unbeaten streak in the T20 comes to an end but they win the series.
India 160/6 after 19 overs: Australia in command as Tye picks up Kohli, who is caught by Daneil Sams and this is all over for India. Shardul Thakur, however, unleashes a flick over the deep mid-wicket for a maximum.

Chahal's nemesis Maxwell gets the better of him again - switch hit for four. Once again, goes for the switch hit and collects three. GONE! Chahal has the last laugh. Maxwell holes out! Jeez... hold on, Chahal has overstepped. Free hit. Maxwell survives! Wade will take strike. Single to end the over.

Maxwell now collects a brace - good fielding by Natarajan. Saved a certain boundary. Maxwell gets cheeky next ball, guides the ball over fine-leg for four. 100 up. 14 off that over.

India have reviewed for a lbw! Looks close. Three reds... Hang on! But Kohli was late on the referral and it has been disallowed. Oh dear. 5 runs from that over.
Australia 82/2 after 10 overs: Washington Sundar strikes and he gets the prized scalp of Steve Smith, who failed to cash in on the opportunity after Rahul missed a simple stumping. India in control as Sundar finishes with 4-0-34-2 .
Australia 73/1 after 9 overs: Excellent over from Chahal as he gives just five from his second over and India, eyeing a wicket here.
Australia 68/1 after 8 overs: T he fifty-run partnership between Smith and Wade is up and Australia has consolidated after losing Finch early.
Australia 59/1 after 7 overs: Yuzvendra Chahal into the attack and he gives eight as Wade is nearing his half-century.
Australia 51/1 after 6 overs: Natarajan into the attack and he starts in a decent fashion, giving just six. Australia off to a bright start, despite losing Finch.
Australia 45/1 after 5 overs: Deepak Chahar has conceded 28 runs in his three overs with Wade hammering for consecutive boundaries - one through mid-wicket and the other through the covers. 17 runs from the over.
Australia 28/1 after 4 overs: Wade is going great guns and is continuing with the form he was in and this is some batting. Sundar concedes 12 in his second over after picking a wicket.
Australia 16/1 after 3 overs: Kohli persists with Chahar and the swing bowler does well as he gives just two runs and beats the outside edge of Smith. India on th attack.
Australia 14/1 after 2 overs: India strikes early as Washington Sundar removes Aaron Finch for a duck and Hardik Pandya takes a simple catch at mid-off. This is such an important breakthrough for India.
Australia 9/0 after 1 over: Matthew Wade begins in a fiery fashion as he starts with a top edge boundary bit then makes the most of a Chahar's short delivery as he pulls through the mid-wicket. Finch yet to face a delivery.
Right then Aaron Finch is back and he will be opening along with Matthew Wade in the final T20I. For India, it will be Deepak Chahar operating with the new ball.

India will eye nothing less than a clean sweep when it takes on an Australian side significantly weakened by injury blows, in the third and final T20I in Sydney on Tuesday.
Skipper Virat Kohli and his main protagonist of the white-ball leg, Hardik Pandya, will feel a sense of deja vu given that the script has panned out exactly like 2016 when the team got walloped in the ODIs but came back strongly to rout the Aussies 3-0 in the T20I series.
