Rahul Johri takes charge as BCCI's first CEO

BCCI CEO Rahul Johri will report to secretary Ajay Shirke.

Former media professional Rahul Johri on Wednesday took charge as the first CEO of the Board of Control for Cricket in India, in line with the recommendations of the Supreme Court-appointed Justice R.M. Lodha committee.

The national cricket board welcomed the CEO, who will report to secretary Ajay Shirke.

According to the BCCI rulebook, the secretary is vested with all the executive powers.
