In his first media interaction after taking over as the International Cricket Council’s first independent chairman, Shashank Manohar has promised the proposed ICC revamp will be complete in six months.

"There is a small group of members which consists of myself, Giles Clarke (ECB), David Peever (CA), Nazmul Hussain from Bangladesh rep and Singapore’s Imran Khwaja. We have asked suggestions to all the ICC members, including affiliates and associates, not just related to financial things, but also regarding cricket, administration and cricketing model and management model. So that would be relooked at in six months’ time and everything will be finalised," he said.

After taking over as BCCI president last October, Manohar had proposed amendment in the earlier ICC revenue model, proposed by his predecessor N. Srinivasan which gave BCCI the lion’s share of the ICC revenue.
