Mumbai Indians' Yuvraj Singh en route his half-century against Delhi Capitals.

Veteran batsman Yuvraj Singh's Mumbai Indians debut started on a classy note as he stroked his way to a sublime half-century against Delhi Capitals in their first Indian Premier League season 12 match at the Wankhede Stadium on Sunday.

Yuvraj Singh scored 52 off just 33 balls with five fours and three sixes, with a strike rate of 157.58, in a match that was dominated by Rishabh Pant's and Colin Ingram's blitzkreigs.

Yuvraj had scored a 50 last in 2017 — unbeaten 70 for Sunrisers Hyderabad, against Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals).

He fell for 53 off 35 balls, caught by Rahul Tewatia off Kagiso Rabada, falling at 170/8 as Mumbai struggled to keep pace with Delhi's 21/6.
