Punjab Kings chased down a target of 262 runs set by Kolkata Knight riders making it the highest T20 total ever scored at Eden Garden in its IPL 2024 match.
Kolkata Knight Riders registered the highest total (261) at Eden Gardens in the first innings but Punjab Kings chased it down and now holds the record.
KKR went past Chennai Super Kings’ 235-run mark in the 18th over to set a new IPL record at this venue.
This is also Punjab Kings’ highest ever total in IPL.
Knight Riders also recorded its second-highest total in IPL after finishing at 261/6 in 20 overs.
261 is also the highest total scored against Punjab. Overall, it’s the sixth-highest IPL total.
