Shikhar Dhawan put out a professional display as he led, and stayed until the end, SRH's chase of 139.

Shikar Dhawan ensured the Sunrisers Hyderabad ended its home campaign in style as it chased Mumbai Indians' meek target of 139 with ease. The opener, who was retained in the Indian ODI squad for the upcoming Champions Trophy, proved his worth with a stroke-filled 46-ball 62 that contained four boundaries and two hits over the fence.

He stayed till the end as SRH sits fourth with 11 points as it heads to the final game of the league stage. It is five points ahead of Kings XI Punjab, the only team that can challenge SRH for the final play-off spot, but it has two games in hand.

SRH v MI: Match Report

Dhawan's innings couldn't have been timed better as it comes on the day the selectors showed faith in him for the opener's slot for the Champions Trophy, to be held in England from June 18 onwards. A mature innings from Dhawan, as he stepped up to the plate after SRH lost its skipper early on.

He stitched a good partnership with Moises Henriques, a pair that was worth 91 runs, as SRH was never really in trouble chasing the relatively small target. All in all, a good showing from the southpaw.
