MCA CoA gets new constitution registered

The CoA submitted the new constitution of the MCA — brought in terms with Lodha reforms — on Tuesday and the State Registrar of Societies issued the certified copy on Wednesday.

The Bombay High Court-appointed Committee of Administrators — Justices (Retd) Hemant Gokhale and V.N. Kanade — has got the new Constitution of the Mumbai Cricket Association registered with the Registrar of Societies, Maharashtra.

The CoA submitted the new constitution of the MCA — brought in terms with Lodha reforms — on Tuesday and the State Registrar of Societies issued the certified copy on Wednesday.

The CoA has also authorised the MCA CEO C.S. Naik to appoint an electoral officer and conduct the elections as per the new constitution. Appointed CoA by the Bombay High Court on April 5, 2018 to administer the affairs of the MCA and to implement the Lodha reforms, Justices Gokhale and Kanade were given a September 15 deadline.
