Yuvraj Singh silenced his critics after playing a blistering 150-run knock of 127 balls including 21 fours and three sixes to pull India out of early trouble in the second One-day International against England in Cuttack on Thursday.
After Yuvraj's 14th century in one-dayers, the social media exploded in praise of the seasoned ODI all-rounder. This century was his first since his brilliance against West Indies in the 2011 World Cup in Chennai.

Here's how
Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar also expressed his emotions on Yuvraj's highest score of his ODI career including a record 256-run partnership with M.S. Dhoni and for overtaking his record of most runs for India while playing against England in limited overs cricket. His tweet says,
What an amazing partnership between a superstar and a rockstar!! We enjoyed the show :) >@YUVSTRONG12>@msdhoni>#INDvENG>pic.twitter.com/mU8o3iJfZi

Yuvraj Singh handled the situation with perfection, having pulled India out of trouble at 25/3 following a three-wicket burst by England fast bowler, Chris Woakes. India's finest opening batsman, Virender Sehwag came all guns blazing on twitter.
This man has defeated Cancer. Today,he only defeated the English bowlers.Everyone can learn not to give up. Proud of >@YUVSTRONG12>#INDvENG>pic.twitter.com/1wdBhpKEAa

Kevin Pietersen, Yuvraj’s best-known IPL buddy, who nick-named the Indian star ‘pie-chucker’ also posted his well wishes all the way from Melbourne regarding today's knock.

Yuvraj termed his knock of 150 as "one of the best" in his whole 16-year international career. "Probably, one of my best innings. The last time I got a hundred was the 2011 World Cup. I am very happy with the innings. We were trying to get a partnership.
"I just wanted to play down the ground and not take much risk. I have been hitting the ball well in the whole domestic season," he said after the first innings of the match.
Yuvraj also praised the former skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who completed 10th hundred of his career and helped India to post a mammoth total of 381 runs.
"Dhoni has been a sensational captain for India. When Mahi is not captaining, he will bat freely. Hopefully, if we take early wickets we can win the game."
