Rahul Tripathi pulls off a stunning relay catch in domestic cricket

Maharashtra's Rahul Tripathi showed incredible presence of mind to pull off a relay catch against Railways in the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 tournament.

Maharashtra skipper Rahul Tripathi pulled off an incredible effort to get a wicket off the last ball against Railways.

Railways' defeat was all but sealed having needed to score 22 runs off the final ball in the chase of 178 against Maharashtra in the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 tournament. Railways number ten batsman Manjeet Singh had a final heave at it and managed to get the ball soaring over the bowler.

But, Rahul Tripathi standing at long-off was not ready to let the intensity drop even a little bit.

The 28-year old leapt to pluck it mid-air but was already over the boundary rope and was about land any moment. Within fraction of seconds, he relayed the ball to Divyang Himganekar standing at the boundary with a back-handed throw to leave his teammates awed.
