T20 Physical Disability World Cricket Series: India beats Pakistan to make final

India beat Pakistan by eight wickets in the concluding round-robin league match to emerge as the number one team at the T20 Physical Disability World Cricket Series in England, organized by the England & Wales Cricket Board. The tournament for physically challenged cricketers is a six-nation competition, other four nations are England, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Zimbabwe. The first-placed side is a direct qualifier for the final and the play-off between second and third-ranked team will decide the second finalist. India Physically Disabled (PD) restricted its opponent to 150 for seven wickets in 20 overs, captain Vikrant Keni, took two wickets for 15 and also accounted for three run-outs. India openers K. Phanase (55 not out runs off 47 balls, 5x4) and W. Khan (69 runs off 43 balls, 4x4, 6x6) eased the road to victory with a 125-run stand in 12.5 overs as India chased the target at the loss of two wickets in 17.1 overs.

Afghanistan finished second and the third-placed finisher is still to be determined, according to information from All India Cricket Association for Physically Challenged. The India vs Pakistan tie was played at the  Kiderminster Cricket Club. Brief scores:
