Prithvi Shaw firmly believes in an all-out attacking approach

Prithvi Shaw was called up to the Indian team for the final two Tests against England, but he was not picked in the playing eleven for either game. But that does not mean that the young batsman felt out of place during his time with the big boys. “It was a great experience to interact with seniors and legends like Virat (Kohli) bhai. Obviously I was a little nervous, but everyone made me feel comfortable. They made it clear that when you play international cricket, there are no small or big players, and that everyone is on the same level," Shaw said.

Shaw believes in backing his attacking game, even if it comes with a fair share of risk. “I like to play attacking shots, even if it is in the first over of the game. If I get out playing attacking shots, then so be it. Obviously, it should not be a horrible shot, but otherwise, I won’t feel guilty. If I get out when playing a shot which is not a part of my game, then it will be bad,” Shaw said.
