Borussia Dortmund has confirmed the signing of Turkey international Emre Mor from Nordsjaelland on a five-year deal.

The 18-year-old Danish-born winger has been included in the Turkey squad for Euro 2016 despite only making his senior international debut last month. The exciting winger was reportedly the subject of interest from Liverpool, Manchester United and Ajax but Thomas Tuchel's team, last season's Bundesliga runner-up, has won the race for his signature.

"Emre Mor is a highly gifted and versatile attacking young player with huge potential for development," Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc said.

Mor could be set to feature when Turkey take on Croatia, holder Spain and Czech Republic in Group D at the European Championship. But the teenager will have more reason than most players to welcome the arrival of pre-season training ahead of the 2016-17 domestic campaign.

"BVB is a great club in Europe with unique fans," he said. "I am looking forward to meeting my team-mates and can hardly wait for the start of the season and my first game."

Mor will be under contract at Signal Iduna Park until 30 June 2021.
