Cristiano Ronaldo and Harry Maguire were left out of Manchester United’s starting eleven by manager Eric Ten Hag for the premier league clash against Liverpool at Old Trafford on Tuesday.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Harry Maguire were left out of Manchester United’s starting eleven by manager Eric Ten Hag for the premier league clash against Liverpool at Old Trafford on Tuesday.

Manchester United lost its opening two fixtures - 1-2 against Brighton and Hove Albion, and 0-4 against Brentford.

On the other hand, Liverpool has played two draws - 2-2 against Fulham and 1-1 against Crystal Palace.

Liverpool is 15th with two points while Manchester United sits at 19th with zero points.
