FC Pune City announced on Wednesday its roping in of Croatian defender Damir Grgic in a bid to bolster the side's defensive powers. The 25-year-old will make his debut in the Indian Super League in the side's 2017-18 season.

In 2010, Damir started his youth career with the Croatian first division club NK Karlovac and moved to German club VfL Bochum a season later. Since 2015, the Germany-born Croatian has been playing in Slovenian PrvaLiga representing NK Rudar Velenje.
