Gianluigi Donnarumma is one of Italy's most exciting young prospect. Just 17-years-old, he is already tipped to be Buffon's successor in the national team.

Last night, his heroics helped AC Milan lift its first trophy since 2011, not only did he save Dybala's penalty to seal the win, he made seven saves in 90 minutes, his highest tally in a game this season.

Donnarumma is someone you call an in and out Milan boy - he was born in Milan, and has been supporting the club since his childhood, at the age of 16 he became the second youngest goalkeeper to debut in Serie A. Then, he broke the record of the youngest Italy U-21 player ever, at the age of 17 years, 28 days and then became the youngest goalkeeper to play for Italy at the age of 17 years, 189 days.

Donnarumma has been quoted as saying "I was born a Milan fan. It did not depend on one game but the passion for the Rossoneri,"

The young goalkeeper has impressed everyone with his performances, and has attracted the interests of the likes of Real Madrid, Chelsea, Juventus, Manchester United.

But his brother Antonio has said that Donnarumma has no plans of leaving Milan anytime soon, "He's not going to leave AC Milan at all,I talk with him every day. We don't talk about football too much, but he's happy at AC Milan, is a huge fan of the club and he's not going to leave in the future."

Now, he will set his eyes on the Scudetto, which Milan last won in 2010-11 and will be hoping to bring back Milan's glory days in Europe. Milan is the second most successful team with 7 trophies but last lifted the Champions League in 2007.
