Arsenal and Adidas partnered with each other for eight years from 1986 to 1994.

Arsenal and Adidas come back together to write a new chapter after the team's Puma deal expired last season. The North London club unveiled the new jersey for the 2019-20 Premier League season on Monday.

Adidas had earlier partnered with Arsenal from 1986 to 1994. Arsenal's partnership with Adidas, 25 years ago, was a successful one featuring a number of trophies and culminated with a second European Cup Winners' Cup triumph.

The 2019/20 home kit kicks off the brand-new partnership between adidas and Arsenal, which aims to push the club forward both on and off the pitch like the previous deal.

The all-new kit design for the 2019/20 season features an all-over red body, complimented by popping white sleeves and contrasting collar. The white high collar design is emblazoned with a central red stripe and black trimming.

The design is repeated on both sleeves and the distinctive three stripes run across the shoulder in bright white.

“The partnership is a statement of intent and strengthens our position as the leading sports brand. adidas and Arsenal have a rich and successful history, and we are excited to write a new and successful chapter with the club,” said Manish Sapra, senior marketing Director, adidas India.

Arsenal has a substantial fan following in India and is second only to Manchester United. The Home Jersey shall be available for purchase in India starting 1 July.
