Kylian Mbappe scored another goal in the 63rd minute to secure a win for PSG but it was Lionel Messi's debut that is the main talking point of the match as the six-time Ballon D'Or winner started a new chapter in his footballing career with the Parisian club.
Speculation intensifies about Kylian Mbappe's future at the club. With two days remaining till the window closes, only time will tell whether the Frenchman will remain in Paris for the season or leave for Real Madrid.

83' Marquinhos maintains composure at the back for a one-two with Hakimi, which sent the latter on a run with a lot of space ahead him. However his ball into the box was intercepted.

El Bilal Toure replaced by Hugo Ekitike for Reims.
80' CHANCE- Di Maria's loose pass intercepted by Van Bergen who after a great run, squares the ball to Toure but the weight of the pass is too heavy as Navas gathers the ball and clashes with Toure in the process.
78' Messi and Mbappe combine- The Argentine runs at the Reims defence and gets a pass away to Mbappe on the right. Mbappe tries to give it back to Messi but his cross is blocked.

60' FOUL- Mbappe with a great turn to leave Faes behind but the Reims defender stopped the Frenchman with a tug at his arm. PSG freekick.

53' GOAL RULED OUT!!!! MUNETSI WAS OFFISIDE!!! Tough luck there for Reims. Munetsi scored of a rebound made by a Keylor Navas save from Toure's header. VAR saw that Munetsi was in a offside position when Toure headed the ball at Navas.

PSG has posed majority of the attacking threat in the first half but Reims has had its chances as well, with it coming closest as Cassama's shot hit the crossbar.
Mbappe's goal keeps PSG ahead at the break but Reims' defence has done a decent job of restricting PSG to just one goal.

40' CHANCE- Reims with a great buildup- Kebbal whips in a great ball from the right in search of a Reims shirt. Navas anticipates the situation well and collects it. All it needed was a touch by a Reims player.

36' Wijnaldum passes to an overlapping Hakimi on the right flank, with the latter looking to put in a cross but Abdelhamid had other ideas as the Reims skipper makes a great challenge to deny the cross.

His cross reaches Hakimi who put in a great ball himself. Marquinhos met it but his header sails above the bar.
21' It is all PSG at the moment as the away team is choking Reims with pressure in and around its penalty-area. The home team cannot get out of its penalty-area at the moment.
19' BLOCK- Wijnaldium shoots at goal after another great buildup by PSG again. His shot is blocked by Munetsi.
16' GOOOAALLLLLL!!!! PSG SCORES!!! ITS MBAPPE!!! Kylian Mbappe has scored his second headed goal of his PSG career. A patient buildup by PSG finished with Di Maria whipping in a wonderful cross from the right. Mbappe made no mistake tucking the ball past Rajkovic.
12' SHOT- A great pass from Kebbal from outside the penalty-area to Toure who had made a good run. Toure's shot, however, isn't on target.
11' PSG finding its rhythm slowly- its forward line combined well and the move ended with Di Maria crossing to Neymar but Reims' defence copes.
10'- Mbappe with his first glimpse of goal as he turns turns well from a Di Maria pass. He is not too far away as his shot hits the side-netting.
10' We haven't seen much of Neymar in these opening minutes.
8' CHANCE- Reims' Gravilon with a wonderful long ball to El Bilal Toure, who made a great run and found Navas off his line. His lobbed effort is nowhere near goal.
If Toure scored if wouldn't have mattered because he was offside when Gravilon played the ball to him.
6' PSG enjoying a prolonged stretch of possession inside its opponent's half for the first time in the match. It hasn't posed any significant danger to Reims yet.
4' Sloppy play from Marquinhos as his pass is intercepted; PSG's forward line was on the run there but the attack is broken down and Reims regains possession.
2' Reims with a lively start forcing PSG into mistakes with its pressing. Its Kebbal with a cross this time but its cleared by Marquinhos.
1' Nervy start from PSG as Diallo makes a poor backpass to Navas. No danger as Navas cleared before a Reims player could reach the ball.

Lionel Messi to make debut?
Lionel Messi is set to make his debut for Paris Saint-Germain later Sunday after being included in the squad for the game at Reims.
PSG delayed naming its squad from Saturday afternoon until 11 a.m. Sunday morning. The record six-time Ballon d’Or winner and four-time Champions League victor could play his first game in the modest surroundings of Reims.

The 34-year-old Argentine, who led his nation to the Copa America title last month, joined PSG three weeks ago after his new contract with Barcelona fell through.
Striker Kylian Mbappe was also named in the squad as Real Madrid tries to sign him before the end of the summer transfer window.
