Indian men’s hockey team to begin Paris Olympics 2024 campaign against New Zealand

The Indian men’s hockey team has been grouped with Australia, Belgium, New Zealand, Ireland and Argentina in Group B for the Paris Olympics, scheduled to be held later in the year.

The Indian men’s hockey team has been grouped with Australia, Belgium, New Zealand, Ireland and Argentina in Group B for the Paris Olympics, scheduled to be held later in the year.

India will take on New Zealand in its campaign opener on July 27 at the Yves-du-Manoir Stadium in Colombes, near Paris. 

In its second game, India will face Argentina, on July 29, followed by Ireland (July 30), defending champion Belgium (August 1), and Australia (August 2).

Pool A consists of the Netherlands, Spain, Germany, France, Great Britain and South Africa.

The quarterfinals will be played on August 4 with the semifinals on August 6, while the bronze-medal playoff and the final will take place on August 8.
