Indian Super League final to be held in Mumbai on March 17
The title-clash of the Indian Super League will be held in Mumbai on March 17, while the final round of fixtures of the I-League will be played on March 9.

The final of the fifth edition of the Indian Super League will be held on March 17 in Mumbai, sources have informed Sportstar .
Officials have also confirmed that the final round of I-League fixtures will be played on March 9.
The ISL semifinal playoffs, played in a home and away format, will be held between March 7 and 12. Four teams - Bengaluru FC, FC Goa, Mumbai City FC and NorthEast United FC – have progressed to the semifinal playoffs. The first and fourth placed teams will play on March 7 and 11, while the second and third placed teams will lock horns on March 9 and 12.
Though the league organisers have made no official announcement regarding the host city of the final, sources attached to the Mumbai Football Arena, the likely venue for the final, said the final is “90% set to be held here.”
The Mumbai Football Arena has a capacity of around 8,000 and will be the smallest stadium to host an ISL final. The average attendance at the Mumbai Football Arena has been a low 4,700 in the side's nine home games this season, which is close to 50 per cent of the stadium's capacity.
Mumbai had previously hosted the final in 2014 at the 55,000-seater DY Patil Stadium.
Chennaiyin FC and ATK have remained the most successful clubs in the ISL, having won two titles each over the last four editions. However, with defending champion Chennaiyin FC languishing at the bottom and ATK failing to advance to the playoffs, the platform is set for a new champion to lift the trophy on March 17.
