AFC Cup: Chennaiyin to play Colombo FC in play-off round

Chennaiyin FC will play Sri Lanka's Colombo FC in the play-off round of the club's maiden AFC Cup campaign.

Colombo confirmed its berth with 9-2 aggregate win over Bhutan's Transport United in the preliminary round on Wednesday.

The Indian Super League side will travel away to Colombo on March 6 for the first leg before hosting the second leg at the TransStadia in Ahmedabad on March 13.

After lifting its second ISL trophy in 2017-18, Chennaiyin finished in the last place of the ongoing season with just nine points.
