India Baja flagged off at Jaisalmer

The India Baja 2017, which begins on Saturday, was officially flagged off with technical and administrative checks of participating vehicles.

The India Baja 2017 was officially flagged off with technical and administrative checks of participating vehicles. The rally begins on Saturday.

This year, the India Baja will be associated with the prestigious Dakar label for the first time in the history of Indian motorsports. Other key highlights of the day included a compulsory competitive briefing being done by the brand ambassador of India Baja and the inaugural edition champion C. S. Santosh, who explained to the participants the importance of safety in this form of motorsports.

Team TVS, represented by Arvind K.P., Adrian Metge, Abdul Tanveer and T. Nataraj, looked pepped up for the competition. Arvind also acknowledged the fact that there is tough competition.
