Despite a Naveen Super-10, Bengal Warriors overcame Dabang Delhi in the 2019 PKL final due to brilliant performances from Nabibakhsh, Sukesh and Jeeva.

Bengal Warriors has made the playoffs four times so far, but featured in its first final of the Pro Kabaddi League this season. Winning the title, beating Dabang Delhi, was icing on the cake. ▲ With 105 points from 20 games, K.Prapanjan was a crucial part of the Bengal Warriors' raiding machinery this season. With Maninder Singh sitting out the final due to injury, the onus of carrying out responsibilities fell on Prapanjan and Nabibakhsh.

But on the day of Bengal Warriors' summit clash with Dabang Delhi, Jeeva turned into a beast. He notched up four crucial tackle points that proved to be the difference in the end. ▲ 18 points despite spending seven minutes of first half on the bench. Naveen Kumar concluded a phenomenal season with Delhi by completing his 21st consecutive Super-10 in PKL and crossing the 300-point mark this season. The star raider didn't get much help from his defence in the final, thereby ending up on the losing side in the most important night of his life.

Stand-in skipper Mohammad Nabibakhsh, bought in for a whopping 77.75L by the Bengal Warriors ahead of season seven, put up a brilliant all-round performance in the final against Dabang Delhi. The Iranian all-rounder registered successful raids, assisted in tackles and got tackle points himself to claim the win for his side. ▲
