Deepak, Gaurav win medals

Great Britain's Jack Bale won the gold in men's air rifle, while Gaurav bagged bronze in men's air pistol.

Deepak Kumar took over from Ravi Kumar who won back to back gold medals, by winning the silver in men’s air rifle in the third match of the Intershoot international shooting competition in the Netherlands.

Read: Ravi Kumar shoots back to back gold in Intershoot Deepak had topped qualification with 627.7 points and lost the gold by 0.4 point to Jack Bale of Britain. Aribam Dicky Sharma won the bronze, while Pratik Borse and Manjeet Singh placed fifth and seventh respectively. Deepak had won the bronze in the second match, and Pratik Borse had won the silver in the first match. In the junior event Avinash Yadav took the silver 0.1 point behind Mauricio Gonzalez of Mexico. In men’s air pistol, Gaurav Tomar won the bronze, as four Indian shooters made the final, with Om Prakash Mitharwal compiling a high score of 585.
