Shotgun World Cup: Rashmmi misses final
Former National champion Rashmmi Rathore shot 112 and missed the women’s skeet final by six points in the shotgun World Cup.

Former National champion Rashmmi Rathore shot 112 and missed the women’s skeet final by six points in the shotgun World Cup here. Rashmmi had a series of 21, 22, 24, 23 and 22 in a field of 48.
Two-time National champion Maheshwari Chauhan sot 109 following rounds of 24, 19, 22, 22 and 22 for the 33rd place.
Three-time Olympic champion and former World champion Kimberly Rhode of the U.S. won her 19th World Cup gold beating Chloe Tipple of New Zealand 57-48.
Both had shot the identical qualification score of 121, while Zhang Heng of China and Samantha Simonton of the U.S. had topped with 123.
With Kimberly Rhode having already won the Olympic quota at the World Championship last year, the two Olympic quota places in the event were bagged by Tipple and c.
In men’s skeet, Sheeraz Sheikh shot two rounds of 24 for the third best score and 22nd place in a field of 95.
Two other Indians, Mairaj Ahmad Khan (44) and National champion Angad Vir Singh Bajwa (43) were not that well placed in the 74th and 86th spots respectively.
