Saurav Ghosal bowed out in the semifinals.

Indian ace Saurav Ghosal's campaign at the Wimbledon Club Squash Squared Open in London came to an end after he lost to Alan Clyne of Scotland in the semifinal on Thursday.

The top-seeded Indian found his footing late into the match, but it wasn’t enough to take him past the finish line as the fourth-seeded Scot wrapped up the contest 11-3, 12-10, 11-9 in an hour. Two unexpected let calls in the second game upset his rhythm again and he couldn’t recover after that.

Ghosal had defeated Englishman Joe Lee 12-10, 11-5, 11-7 in the quarterfinals on Wednesday.
