Bollywood presence at PBL Opening Ceremony

Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez and music composers Salim and Sulaiman will perform in the opening ceremony of the Premier Badminton League which starts in Mumbai on January 2nd. Mumbai Rockets take on the Awadhe Warriors in the first match of the tournament.

Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez and music composers Salim and Sulaiman will perform in the opening ceremony of the Premier Badminton League which starts in Mumbai on January 2nd.

With just a week away from the ceremony, PBL Chairman Dr Akhilesh Das Gupta said: “The Premier Badminton League will have the required glitz and glamour through this opening ceremony and will be followed by the high-intense sporting battles.”

Mumbai Rockets take on the Awadhe Warriors in the first match of the tournament which resumes after two-year gap.

Six franchises will vie for top honours that will be played in five cities—Delhi, Lucknow, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bengaluru. The tournament will end on January 17th.
