Sachin batting against acid attacks

India has seen a staggering amount of acid attacks on women in the recent past and the star batsman has urged his fans to sign a petition, initiated by Make Love Not Scars (MLNS), to end acid sales.

India’s cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, today, came out in support of banning the sales of concentrated acid. India has seen a staggering amount of acid attacks on women in the recent past and the star batsman has urged his fans to sign a petition, initiated by Make Love Not Scars (MLNS), to end acid sales.

According to its >website , Make Love Not Scars (MLNS) is a non government organization dedicated to provide acid attack victims an opportunity to regain their life on their own terms through recovery, rehabilitation, and reintegration.

The organisation was founded by Ria Sharma, a graduate from Leeds College of Art. It was initially a college project she was working on. She is currently based in Delhi and has devoted her life in the service of the survivors.
