Ramkumar Ramanathan, India's sole represent in the singles category, will face fourth seed Malek Jaziri in the last match of the day.

Here's the complete order of play:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

That's game, set and match for Jaziri! The Tunisian beats Ramkumar 6-7, 7-6, 6-3 . Ramkumar's ouster also brings an end to the Indian challenge at the Maharashtra Open!

1:19am: First signs of tiredness from Ramkumar as Jaziri takes a 5-3 lead in the third set.

12:59am: Jaziri leads the third set 3-2.

12:40am: Jaziri takes the second set 7-6. It's 1-1 with one set to play.

12:00am: Ramkumar trails Jaziri 2-3 in the second set.

11:37pm: Ramkumar Ramanathan takes the first set 7-6.

11:00pm: It's even stevens here as Ramkumar and Jaziri are tied at 3-3.

10:20pm: We're now down to our last match of the day. India's sole represent left in the singles draw, Ramkumar Ramanathan will take on fourth seed Malek Jaziri.

10:15pm: Game, set, match Simon! He survives a scare to come back from a one set deficit to seal a hard-fought 6-7(3), 6-2, 6-1 win over Ilya Ivashka.

9:40pm: Simon is back in this. After losing the opening set, The Frenchman soars to a 6-2 win in the second set.

9:30pm: Steve Darcis is through to the next round. He stages a come-from-behind 4-6, 7-6(4), 6-2 win over Michael Mmoh.

8:50pm: This is proving to be quite the clash. Ivashka bags the first set against Simon. Both players held serve through the set, but Ivashka managed to break Simon twice in the tiebreaker to run away with the first set. Dare to say it, but another upset on the cards?

8:25pm: We have the first three-setter of the day! Michael Mmoh claimed the first set 6-4, but Belgian Steve Darcis made a fine comeback to win the second set tiebreak and force their match to a deciding third set.

7:40pm: Defending champion Giles Simon is on the court ladies and gents.

7:20pm: A stunning match of tennis comes to an end as Kevin Anderson defeats Laslo Djere 7-6(3), 7-6(6). Djere fought relentlessly and looked like he would push the tie to a deciding third set but Anderson rose to the occasion to claim a hard-fought win. Anderson will face Jaime Munar in the quarterfinal.

7:00pm: What a cracker of match at centre court! Neither Anderson not Djere is able to gain a break and we're now headed to a tiebreaker. 6:30pm: Seventh seed Jaime Munar progresses to the last-eight stage after easing to a  7-5, 6-0 win over Simone Bolelli.

6:20pm: Anderson prevails! He wins the tiebreaker 7-3 and pockets the opening set.

5:55pm: That's the win for fifth seed Benoit Paire. He cruises to an easy 6-4,6-2 in over Jiri Vesely to book his spot in the quarterfinal.

5:40pm: Oooh, comeback! Djere holds serve and breaks Anderson to trail 3-4 in the opening set. Interesting fact: Hyeon Chung had a massive 4-0 lead in the first set against Gulbis before losing the set in a tiebreaker. Can Djere pull of a similar feat?

5:20pm: BREAK! Top seed Kevin Anderson breaks Djere's serve to take a 3-1 lead in the first set. 5:15pm: Fifth seed Benoit Paire takes the first set 6-4 against Czech Republic's Jiri Vesely.

5:00pm: There's the first big upset of the tournament! Unseeded Latvian Ernests Gulbis sends Hyeon Chung packing after recording a 7-6 (2), 6-2 win in an hour and 40 minutes.

4:50pm: The oldest player in the draw, Ivo Karlovic advances to the quarterfinal after claiming a comfortable 6-4, 7-5 victory over Evgeny Donskoy. The big serving Croat fired as many as 17 aces in his straight sets win!
