Purav Raja in partnership with Fabricio Neis of Brazil made the doubles semifinals with a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Gregoire Jacq and Hugo Voljacques in the € 69,280 Challenger tennis tournament in France.
Sriram Balaji in partnership with Jason Jung of Chinese Taipei was beaten 7-6(4), 6-3 by the third seeds Romain Arneodo and Andrei Vasilevski in the doubles quarterfinals of the $162,480 Challenger tennis tournament in Newport Beach, US.
The quarterfinal entry was worth 25 ATP points and $1,920.

In the ITF women’s event in Egypt, Ashmitha Easwaramurthi in partnership with Simona Waltert of Switzerland was beaten 10-7 in the super tie-break by Magali Kempen and Melanie Klaffner in the doubles semifinals.
