And we're done with the third-round matches at Wimbledon 2018. Just six of the 32 seeds have made it to the round of 16 – and only one of the top 10. The 32-seed system is meant to ensure that the top players don't face each other in the earlier rounds, but that hasn't stopped them from making early exits this tournament.

Here are the match-ups for the fourth round of the women's singles:

Hsieh Su-wei vs Dominika Cibulková

Jeļena Ostapenko (12) vs Aliaksandra Sasnovich

Alison Van Uytvanck vs Daria Kasatkina (14)

Belinda Bencic vs Angelique Kerber (11)

Karolína Plíšková (7) vs Kiki Bertens (20)

3:45pm: Nadal will face 19-year-old Australian Alex de Minaur, while Djokovic will play Kyle Edmund, the top British seed and the only one still left in either singles draw.

Juan Martin del Potro and Alexander Zverev will also be in action, while Nick Kyrgios will take on Kei Nishikori, the 2014 US Open runner-up.

Top seed Simona Halep will go up against Hsieh Su-wei as she looks to avoid the dead pool that is the women's top 10. Also playing their third-round matches today are Jeļena Ostapenko, Elise Mertens and Angelique Kerber.

3:40pm: The men's top seeds have fared better though. While four of the top 10 are out, Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic – the three Wimbledon champions playing this year – are still alive and kicking.

Federer is into the fourth round. And the eight-time champion seems to set a new record every time he steps out onto the grass at the All-England Club.

3:35pm: Eight of the top 10 seeds in the women's draw are already out of Wimbledon, and half the matches in the third round are yet to be played.

Seventh seed Karolína Plíšková is the only one of the 10 into the round of 16. The Czech former world No.1 looked down and out, serving twice in the second set to stay in the match, on Friday, but came back to beat Mihaela Buzărnescu in three sets.
