Paes seeded second in Chennai Open doubles draw

Leander Paes and his Spanish partner Marcel Granollers have been seeded second at the 2016 Chennai Open behind top seeds Raven Klaasen and Rajeev Ram.

Indian tennis player Leander Paes and his South African partner Raven Klaasen ended up as runners-up at last year's Chennai Open.

Leander Paes and his Spanish partner Marcel Granollers have been seeded second at the 2016 Chennai Open behind top seeds Raven Klaasen and Rajeev Ram.

Incidentally, Paes had partnered up with South African Klaasen and the pair had ended up losing in the final of last year’s tournament.

The top ten doubles pairings are:

The Aircel Chennai Open 2016 will witness an impressive player field including World No. 4 Stan Wawrinka vying for a hat-trick of titles, Chennai-debutant World No. 12 Kevin Anderson, World No. 19, ATP's Comeback Player of the Year 2015 Benoit Paire, World No. 25 Roberto Bautista-Agut, along with Guillermo Garcia-Lopez, Gilles Muller, Vasek Pospisil, Borna Coric, and Aljaz Bedene representing nine players from amongst the top 50 in the world.
