Sharan-Lipsky pair in Sofia Open semis

Divij Sharan in partnership with Scott Lipsky reached the doubles semifinal of the Sofia Open in Bulgaria on Friday.

Divij Sharan and Scott Lipsky will next face the team of Robin Haase and Matwe Middelkoop in the semis.

The pair of Divij Sharan and Scott Lipsky advanced to the semifinal of th Sofia Open with a 6-4, 6-7, 10-5 win over Romain Arneodo and Tristan-Samuel Weissborn in Sofia, Bulgaria, on Friday.

The duo next face the team of Robin Haase and Matwe Middelkoop in the semis, the winner of which will take on Nikola Mektic and Alexander Peya in the final.

Jeevan-Christopher continue fine run

Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan, seeded third with Christopher Rungkat, continued with his fine run in the Challenger circuit, as he made the semifinalsof the $100,000 San Francisco Open in the US. Jeevan and partner are scheduled to face the second seeds Luke Bambridge and Joe Salisbury of Britain in the semifinals.

Raja-Demoliner pair beaten in Ecuador

In the $561,345 ATP Tour event in Ecuador, Purav Raja, seeded No.1 with Marcelo Demoliner of Brazil was beaten 14-12 in the super tie-break of the doubles pre-quarterfinals, by the French wild cards Dorian Descloix and Gael Monfils.
