Sriram Balaji and Divij Sharan beat Denis Istomin and Courtney John Lock 7-5, 6-2 to make the doubles semifinals of the €44,820 Challenger tennis tournament here on Thursday.

In the WTA event in Uruguay, Riya Bhatia in partnership with Dasha Ivanova of the US was beaten 6-2, 4-6, 14-12 in the doubles pre-quarterfinals by Anna Siskova and Valeriya Strakhova.
