Brij Bhushan to be named India’s Chef de Mission at Asian Games

The IOA has announced a 524-member contingent of athletes for the Asian Games in Indonesia in August this year.

Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) president, Brij Bhushan Saran Singh, is set to be named the Chef de Mission of the Asian Games-bound Indian contingent.

The Indian Olympic Association (IOA) is likely to make the announcement later this week.

The four deputy Chefs de Mission set to be be appointed are B S Kushwaha (former secretary of Indian Kayaking and Canoeing Federation), R K Sacheti (Executive Director of Boxing Federation of India, D K Singh (Uttarakhand Olympic Association) and Colonel R K Swain (Secretary of Equestrian Federation of India).

The IOA, which had announced a 524-member contingent of athletes for the August 18-September 2 Asian Games in Indonesia, is expected to issue a revised list after the court verdict in sailing and handball.
