Haryana Hammers beats Punjab Royals to win PWL 4
Haryana Hammers defeated two-time defending champion Punjab Royals 6-3 in the final to lift the Pro Wrestling League season 4 title.

Moldovan World junior champion Anastasia Nichita stunned Olympian Mimi Hristova in a dramatic fashion as four-time finalist Haryana Hammers defeated two-time defending champion Punjab Royals 6-3 in the final to win its maiden Pro Wrestling League (PWL) title at the Gautam Buddha University indoor hall here on Thursday.
Hammers won the first five bouts to outlast Royals with four bouts to spare.
Ukrainian Aleksander Khotsianivski beat Korey Jarvis 3-0 without taking risk in the heaviest weight category.
In a men's 86kg cliff-hanger, two-time World championships bronze medallist Ali Shabanov fought back to defeat Olympics bronze medal winner Dato Magarishvili of Geogria 4-3.

The Georgian took a 3-0 lead through a takedown and a pushout, but Shabanov, who narrowed the gap with a timely two-pointer, continued with his attacking game to equalise in the final second. Royals challenged the point in vain.
Kiran, a Commonwealth Games bronze medallist, got the better of another strong foreign athlete, French Olympian Cynthia Vescan, 3-1 in a women's 76kg duel.
Kiran, who went 3-0 up in the first round, defended sturdily in the second.
Ravi Kumar sailed through in his 57kg bout, while a clinical Nichita rallied to utilise an opening and pin Bulgarian Mimi in the opening period of the women's 57kg contest.
