Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli's numbers in 2018 make for an astounding reading.

The Indian captain has amassed 2653 runs across three formats at a staggering average of 69.81, including 11 centuries and eight fifties.

In 12 Tests played this year, Kohli hammered 1240 at 56.36 and racked up five hundreds and four half-centuries.

Against Australia, Kohli became the 21st batsman to register 25 or more centuries in Test cricket, and is only second to Sir Don Bradman to 25 Test tons.

The 30-year-old's trail-blazing role in the one-day game, where he has 1202 runs at a mind-boggling average of 133.5 with six hundreds and three fifties, didn't go amiss.

However, he had a comparatively quiet — by his standards — run in T20s where he managed 211 runs at a strike-rate of 121.96 and has just one half-century against his name.
