Indian archer Atanu Das remained in the hunt for a bronze medal in the men’s individual recurve section, even as his teammates suffered early elimination in the Archery World Cup Stage 3 at the Konyaalti Beach Park here today. Fourth seed Das lost to Korean top seed Ku Bonchan 0-6 in the semis and will face second seed Korean Kim Woojin in the bronze play-off on Sunday.

Having got a bye to last 32, Das earlier defeated Chun Heng Wei 6-2 in the quarters, and Oldair Zamora 6-0 in the fourth round. Deepika Kumari made a fourth round exit, losing to Guendalian Sartori of Italy 4-6.
