Sourabh, Uttejitha win All India Badminton titles

Sourabh Verma registered a stunning victory over top seed Pratul Joshi to clinch the title.

Sourabh Verma came back from a game down to defeat top seed Pratul Joshi 17-21, 21-14, 21-18 to clinch the Yonex Sunrise All India senior ranking badminton tournament in Bengaluru on Sunday.

In the women's section, second seed Sai Uttejitha Rao beat Rituparna Das 21-15, 7-21, 21-15 to win the title.

The tournament, which carried a total of Rs. five lakh as prize money, will serve as a qualification competition for the upcoming Asian Games.
