Playing confidently, S.P. Sethuraman held Viswanathan Anand in 30 moves in the seventh round of the Isle of Man International chess tournament here on Friday.

Draw was agreed after the players were left with five pawns and two minor pieces each. The two are part of the 12-player pack in the eighth spot at five points.

After the top six boards produced draws, Michael Adams defeated Abhijeet Gupta in 54 moves to join six overnight leaders at 5.5 points.

Among the Indians, the victorious quartet of Vidit Gujarathi, Surya Shekhar Ganguly, R. Praggnanandhaa and S. Kidambi joined B. Adhiban, D. Gukesh and Abhijeet at 4.5 points and shared the 20th place.
