Paul Fein has been a longtime tournament player, former Satellite tournament director, teaching pro and coach, local tennis promoter and organizer, regional TV tennis commentator, New England tournament consultant, tennis researcher, and the author of the popular books, “Tennis Confidential,” “Tennis Confidential II,” “You Can Quote Me on That,” “The Fein Points of Tennis,” and “Game Changers: How the Greatest Players, Matches, and Controversies Transformed Tennis.” Fein has interviewed tennis legends Roger Federer, Serena and Venus Williams, Andre Agassi, Monica Seles, Bob and Mike Bryan, Martina Navratilova, Chris Evert, Pete Sampras, John McEnroe, Arthur Ashe, and Jimmy Connors, to name a few. He became a freelance tennis writer chiefly because he wanted to advance the sport by writing essays on controversial issues. These essays have appeared in tennis and sports magazines around the world, and have received more than 40 writing awards.
