Cooch Behar Trophy: Manipur's Rajkumar Singh snares 10 wickets in an innings

Rex Rajkumar Singh came up with a dream spell of 10 for 11 to help Manipur record an emphatic, 10-wicket win over Arunachal Pradesh in the Cooch Behar Trophy (under-19) cricket tournament league match here on Tuesday.
Earlier, resuming on its overnight score of 89 for three, Manipur was bowled out for 122. Rajkumar then ran through Arunachal's line-up, achieving the rare feat of grabbing all 10 wickets in an innings during his spell of 9.5-6-11-10 as the opposition folded for a paltry 36 in the second innings.
The 18-year-old Manipur left-arm pacer, who made his Ranji Trophy debut this season, finished the match with an overall haul of 15 wickets. Chasing 53, Manipur romped home by 10 wickets.
Mahaboob Basha of Andhra had claimed a 10-wicket haul against Tripura in the Cooch Behar Trophy match in 2009-10 at the same venue.
The scores: 2nd day: Arunachal Pradesh 138 in 54.5 overs & 36 in 18.5 overs (Rex Rajkumar Singh 10 for 11) lost to Manipur 122 in 49.1 overs (Abhijeet 48, Govind Mittal five for 50, D. Dagra four for 25) & 55 for no loss in 7.5 overs (Shubham Chouhan 32 not out).
