While Maharashtra is placed fifth with 10 points, Assam is languishing at the bottom of the table with just two points.

Surendra Bhave and Lalchand Rajput have been involved in many a duels during their heydays as opening batsmen of Maharashtra and Mumbai, respectively. While Maharashtra is placed fifth with 10 points, Assam is languishing at the bottom of the table with just two points.

It would be interesting to see if both the teams ring in changes in their squads with an eye on trying out younger faces. While Assam is likely to try out the bench strength, Maharashtra may hand young off-spinner Siddhesh Warghante a debut.
